Plain Batts (Solid Batts) are mainly used in domestic ceramics, architectural ceramics, foam ceramics, magnetic materials, food processing, abrasives and other industrial fields, and are the most commonly used fire-resistant kiln furniture products. Semi-dry compression molding is generally used, and pressure grouting and high-pressure vacuum extrusion are sometimes used. According to the classification rules, the Solid Batts are divided into 10 sub-categories, namely: Extra Large Batts, Extra Thin Batts, Plain Batts, Perforated Batts, Grooved Batts, Trapezoidal Batts, Nested Batts, Circuler Batts, Semi-circular Batts, Special Batts.

Extra Large Batts: Various shapes of batts with an area of more than 3,500 square centimeters;

Extra Thin Batts: All shapes of batts other than circuler, semi-circular batts having a thickness of less than 9 mm;

Plain Batts: The ordinary batts with an area of ≤ 3500 square centimeters,  a thickness of ≥ 9mm ;

Perforated Batts: Various flat batts with an area of ≤ 3,500 square centimeters , a thickness of ≥ 9 mm with through holes;

Grooved Batts: Ordinary grooved batts,Trapezoidal groove batts, porous grooved batts with an area of ≤ 3500 square centimeters, a thickness of  ≥ 9mm ;

Trapezoidal Batts: Trapezoidal batts with an area of ≤ 3500 square centimeters, a thickness of ≥ 9mm ;

Nested Batts: Nested Batts with an area of ≤3,500 square centimeters and a thickness of ≥9 mm, including Location nests, Card nests, and  Ring nest;

Circuler Batts:Circular batts Including with and without holes ;

Semi-circular Batts: Contains semi-circular batts and curved batts with and without holes;

Special Batts: Special shaped batts not included in the above categories.

Cordierite-Mullite kiln furniture is the composition  of cordierite, mullite and glass phase. It fully utilizes the high temperature resistance of mullite and the low expansion of cordierite, so the cordierite-mullite kiln furniture is resistant to quenching. With good heat performance and long service life, it can be used safely below 1350°C to meet the burning requirements of most ceramic products.

General kiln furniture is mainly used in forming the main structure of the kiln furniture system, on which the products or the secondary kiln furniture placed . Therefore, the universal kiln furniture is also called the primary kiln furniture. This type of kiln furniture can be applied in different industries and has strong versatility. The main varieties are Plain Batts, Perforated Batts, Grooved Batts, Extruded Batts, Various Props, Prop caps and Splicers.
